Dans Thursday Doors
Another old house found on my last road trip. This one near Bingara. Another drive by photo.
You have to look hard to find the three doors

It does look rather tumbledown for a once splendid house

Interesting and sad. I fear this one has moved beyond a little TLC. Great photo.

Thanks Dan. I was pleased how well it came out for a drive by photo.
It is sad to see once lovely homes crumble

Neglect and weather are a powerful combination.

Your photo makes it look like a place one could get sucked into fixing up, but I suspect that would be a total money sink!

It would be a money pit for sure

I think the chimney on the left must be where the kitchen is. Inside baking oven. What do you think? I would like to have a home like this- not in this state though.

Now you made me sit here and stare for a very long time without finding any doors at all😅 A great image On The Road!😊

Thank you Anita. Look for the darker patches under the verandahs 😁

I could only find two doors. It would have been quite a house at one time – talk about living in a glass house! 🙂

Thanks Marsha, two doors on the side verandah and the front door. A once proud house for sure 😢

I love lots of windows. I think I’d like a better roof, though! 🙂

I absolutely love this photo. The house is in need of some tlc but the wear and tear on shows it was lived in for some time in the past. Love the contrast your photo captured of the surrounding landscape. Great share!

sure the roof is rusty! but try to imagine the peace that old thing could offer trying to escape reality and wanting to have some alone time.
