Dans Thursday Doors
Driving along the highway in north-west New South Wales somewhere I saw this old farmhouse, just sitting all alone in the paddock. Luckily the road went past where there wasn’t vegetation to block the view for a drive by photo. Not far away was the new farmhouse.

Fab old building

Our old farmhouse was still on the property not far from the new farmhouse last time I visited the site. I wonder if it is still there.

I’m glad I’m not the only one looking out for farm buildings along the road. Great capture, Brian.

Thanks Dan. I tried to get some buildings as we went past. I missed a lot. Being on a deadline and not the driver meant no stopping, some places there wasn’t anywhere to pull over anyway.

Alone and abandoned and certainly with an exciting story behind it.

Poor little building. At least the land surrounding it is kept up nicely.

In the middle of farmed paddocks I was amazed it was there

It has a lovely look to it. Too bad they can’t find some use for it and fix it up.
