Dan’s Thursday Doors
Following on from last weeks very different doors at the Boonah Showgrounds, I found another very similar door in a small town downstream in Ulmarra.
This is an actual church door. The church hasn’t ben used in many a year as you can tell from the wonderful door.

That’s a Proper Church Door.

Thank you Suzette. A lovely door indeed

Sad that it’s no longer in use. I think a door needs to be opened now and then and have people pass through. I like the shape and the color. I hope it gets a little care.

I think the church has been sold so let’s see if new owners do anything

It’s a good looking door, but looks like it might fall apart if used!

The paint work gives that impression. I gave it a slight shove and it is solid like old wood should be.
I have to go back and see if anything has been done to the building and grounds

But it’s still pointing upwards!
