Dans Thursday Doors
A bit of a roam about town and I came upon this rather desolate door.
Quite down on its luck. I hope it survives the obvious lack of maintenance
on the building, an old hotel that deserves better. I hope I am around if
they modernise or refurbish the building in case the doors are being
disposed of.

A well loved door on a block of flats. I wonder if at some time it was one
residence or a business. It has four flats but I am not sure of the age of
the building, maybe 40’s or 50’s. At some stage it was “updated” with a
stucco finish

That first door is great!

That first door has so much potential. I hope someone does fix it up.

Both are great, particularly the glass in the second one

The second one looks well maintained; someone appreciates its beauty.

During the early days of the global pandemic, I walked around the then-deserted streets of Princeton (NJ), photographing doors and front entrances. I “Saw” many things I had not “seen” during my few decades living in the area.

That is always the way. When I am asked about what I am doing, I say I am being a tourist in my own town, finding new things a lot of the time too

I hope someone finds a way to restore the building at the top, and I hope they can save those doors.

Great doors in both of these. I hope the first one gets some attention though.

They are quite good in their own way. So do I.
