This Weeks Spam – 24 April

Fandangos Spam Comment of the Week – Week 16 2023

A disappointing and somewhat frustrating week of spam. Not many to get excited about

  • I am going to start with one of those I’m trying to learn your language robot comments from esposa who hails from xvideoz.win/xvideo2035330711 and commented on Cee’s cmmc_logo Not sure which post of mine though. Yes I finally have someone wanting me to click on their p0rn site. The comment is interesting

“Today, I wenht too thee beachfront with myy kids. I found a ssea shell and gave itt to myy 4 year
oldd daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed thhe shelpl tto heer ear and screamed.
There waas a hermit crtab inside andd itt pijnched her ear.
Shee nevsr wants tto goo back! LoL I know tis
iis entirely ooff topoic bbut I hhad to tell someone!”

Well thanks for that. I hope your stutter gets better eposa

  • Now for the frustration part. Remember my wonderful guru Jeunemaitrespirituelegnon who wants to give me internal as well as external meditation, the one I blocked three weeks ago! Well he has appeared on various posts, five to be exact last week. What’s the point of blocking someone if these comments keep appearing using the same name and website? This time all the comments were in French so I am going to bore you with the repetitive crap to save your love life and keep your husband happy 😂 Now go away

“Loved this post – heress my feedback –
This article captures the dilemma that many of us face when we enter a stationery store. The author’s description of being lost in time while trying to choose the perfect pen is relatable and entertaining. The use of the word colourful in the title adds a playful element to the piece, and the overall tone is light-hearted and fun. It’s a great read for anyone who loves stationery and appreciates the joy of picking out the perfect writing tool.
Thanks for reading , Love The Blog !!”

Do you think this is an AI comment? My thoughts. The heress at the start made me think but then again fat fingers can do anything. Then it reads OK except for “the author’s” hang on why not write your? Then the clincher for me is “The use of the word colourful in the title” when colourful isn’t in the title!
Anyway I don’t want a puppy.

That’s you lot for the week

  1. Almost all of the spam comments I receive are not specific to the content of the post they’re commenting on. But then when I get a comment where it sounds responsive to what I posted, but is spam (based upon the site it came from or from a non-existent email address, it really freaks me out. I wonder if these spammers copy my post into some AI engine and then instruct that AI engine to generate a comment on the post. That’s just freaky.

    1. That’s what I thought this one was. They fed the content but not the title and seeing that Colourful was linked the AI assumed that must have been in the title somewhere “The use of the word colourful in the title adds a playful element to the piece” using flattery to draw me in further. Yes it is a bit WTF 😲
