Lost in time

Debbies One Word Sunday: Colourful

The huge dilemma
going into a stationers.
They know how to get you in,
always at the front entrance
towards the rear of the store
the first thing you see.
Suddenly you have been standing there,
…………….lost in time

But I also want a pen
just along a bit
I know the colour
but not the hue
click or twist
pocket clip or not
Suddenly you have been standing there,
…………….lost in time

    1. That’s lovely Jo. I didn’t have another verse in me. That was 20 minutes but when the words stop, they stop. Anything else would read contrived ๐Ÿค—

  1. OMG, you too! I remember when I was a kid, my favorite place was a stationery shop! I wanted to buy all kinds of pen and paper. Now I do that with all kinds of art colors and brushes (using them is another story ๐Ÿ˜‰).

    1. Oh no. You will get to see the selection of black fine points and then wonder why, when you get to the checkout, do you have a basket of notepads, post-it-notes, a selection of pencils plus sharpener and eraser ๐Ÿ˜‚
