When I see the word Tricolour the first thing I think of is the French flag

and all things red white and blue

I guess our Australian flag is a bit tricolour too

Who knows. The old guard is fading away but unfortunately they bred a new generation who feel a connection. Maybe wait a long respectful distance from Liz going before it gets raised again.
Charles came to a school here, Timbertop, in 1966 A finishing school for rich kids.
He arrived at the school in Summer wearing a Fox fur hat and of course sweating a fair bit. One of the other kids asked him why he was wearing that hat on such a hot day.
Charles said “I went to Mummy and said I was going to a new school, Timbertop”
The Queen replied “Where the focks that”, so I have said Charles.

I think that now Liz is gone things are more likely to change, perhaps after a few more years, as you say. I can just picture that conversation, which will keep a smile on my face all day!

My first thought of tricolour was the red, white and blue of the British Union Jack, and yet during an online search using the word Tricolour the Indian flag is the one that appeared the most.
Great response, Brian, I love those bikes. 🙂
