Terri’s Sunday Stills Monthly Colour Challenge: Days of #Grey and #White
John’s Cellpic Sunday
Sitting in the Dragonfly Cafe in Lismore a few years ago (pre-flooding events) The white walls and simple pictures and decore drew me in and I had to grab a photo and playing with the settings on my phone photo software, these images were the result.
A lovely song from way back when to enjoy
The colour version

More black and white

Quite washed out with the whites trying to dominate

As you can see I am not all that good using my phone for a camera
You are Good in using camera , take my words 🙂

These are lovely, Brian! I love that white-washed vibe of the brick walls, and your filtered images just made them more interesting! The third one shows all the texture! Nice work!

I really like your last image, a high-key high-structured image. I am a big fan of black-and-white, Brian.

Thanks John. It was all B&W when I started taking photos. Couldn’t afford colour processing. Still love B&W now 🙂

Love these Brian. My first thought was that I was seeing writing on the walls. I had to zoom in to realize it’s brickwork. I still like the idea of walls of writing though.

Thanks Graham. Even sitting there you wonder what is going on. Rough brickwork and white wash looked good

Great choices. As much as I like regular brick walls, I think the white wash look is pretty cool as well.
