Last Photo for October 2022
Thank you to everyone who contributes their good and not so good photos. I am heartened by your comments and photos. Like a lot of people I forget and am surprised at what was the last photo on the four devices I use to take photos.
So let’s see what you have for October 2022
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 31st October
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”

That is a photo of quality control. That middle match is just a sliver. I am glad it wasn’t the last match in the box. The automatic lighter in the oven doesn’t work so I have to use matches 👍😁

Aren’t Bottlebrush flowers so interesting? I can see the caterpillar resemblance. It is different to most of the others 🙂

You’ve got to be a maestro to strike that middle match. You’ve reminded me that I failed my Brownie Safety in the Home badge by not being able to strike a match.

I double it up with a good one so it was easy. You must have been quite young and not allowed matches at home

They were damp. That’s my excuse anyway. Actually Mum was very protective and impressed likely dangers upon me. I was quite shocked during my first cookery class at school where they allocated us all ovens, half of them gas, and told us to turn them on. I remember waiting for the bang, thinking ‘They must be mad! A whole load of kids, all turning ovens on!’

I loved seeing the matches! We have a thing about matches – not being able to buy our favourite Swallow brand Säkerhets Tändstickor in the UK, we value every strike. I’m hoping we can stock up on our next visit to the Netherlands. They are used almost exclusively in the loo instead of air freshener. Works a treat. Haha I had a boyfriend once who did that every time, and occasionally set fire to himself. But other than that it really works to light a match in the loo after you know what.
