Ludwig’s Monday Window 31 October
This is an old shop in Tyalgum. A small village a couple of hours away from here. I should go back and see if things have picked up as last time things didn’t look good. A town in decline.
Here is a double shade bonus. the lovely tin shades on the shop and the decorative wooden ones on the house behind.

It was looking pretty down when you took the photo. I hope it has been revived!

We have areas like that as well.

Gotta love a town called Tyalgum, however shabby it might be.

Tyalgum probably means Tall Timbers as it was a Cedar Tree timber town until they cut them all down. About 500 people live there now

Tin shades! Now there is something I haven’t seen before. Too bad that the place is in decline. Hope somebody sees its charm and brings it back to life.

Thanks Ludwig. One day things will happen as more city folk move out that way
