Oh.. they are gorgeous, are they made of cast iron? If so, I bet they are heavy.

I would have thought so. Behind the counter so couldn’t lift one. I was hoping they weren’t cheap reproductions. I needed a coffee otherwise I should have ordered a pot of tea π

I had a bad experience with cast iron pots… I was in Alders and went to lift a Le Creuset large saucepan… Thinking it would be light… and boy it was so heavy, I couldn’t hold it… I felt my wrist give out and the bloody then fell on my foot and tore a tendon in my shoulder as I tried frantically to catch it… It did hurt and all my mum could do was laugh her head off… π π π

Wow. That was not good at all. I have a few cast iron cook wear pieces and they are heavy that’s for sure.

Tea for two, or perhaps strong tea for two strong tea makers!
