Dan’s Thursday Doors
A grand entrance and doorway in Toowoomba. I wish I was game enough to move the hose.

A great door. But of course it needs ‘staff’ to keep the show on the road.

I reckon but wished they moved the hose 😂

You know what they say. ‘You can’t get the staff these days’ 😉

I guess the garden’s been watered.

I love the door.
Hopefully, someone eventually pointed out the health and safety issue, the trip hazard! 🙂

I’ve often said that photographers should have the right to move things like that hose out of the way. You could put it back. It’s a lovely entrance, and I like the way the color on the panel ties in with the stone.

I often do move things surreptitiously but there was no way to sneak for that one. I took the photo through locked gates 😂

I picture those statues playing a little tune while I water the gardens. The hose adds character, Brian. I kind of like it there. Looks lived in.

Wonderful imagination….made me smile. I guess it does add to the hominess 🙂

cool doors and entrance- and the hose adds a nice twist! the human touch and the life vibe as opposed to a structure that is not filled anymore – ya know?

Yes it does give a life vibe for sure 🙂

Well I also read the comment about the tripping hazard – so I wonder how long they left it there?

I would say when the gardener finished lunch 😂

Just as I’d sometimes like to ask a car/cars to move. 🙂 Very grand, a bit too much for me personally but I’m sure the house lived up to it.

I know. Some drivers have no regard for photographers 😂

I’m with those who think the hose adds a human touch. I mean, a fancy house and entrance and there’s an unsightly, and potentially dangerous, hose lying on the path.

I reckon everyone uses the back door

This made me smile. I don’t think I’ve every seen an entryway with such figures. Usually I see them in a garden. Nice!
