A Glass Elephant

Ragtag Daily Prompt Wednesday: Exquisite

Some of you may know I have a large collection of Elephants, not real ones but ornamental Elephants. A while ago a good friend gave me a glass Elephant with golden features. The first words that came out of my mouth was exquisite so I thought that this would be a good subject for the theme.

Well it is hard to get a good image of glass objects so here are a few of the better photos I hope.

Words of Wisdom #5

Paula’s WOW – Words of Wisdom #5

— Lao Tzu

Inspired by Paula’s fabulous photo and quote.
This is an Australian Native Snail, a Soft-shelled Snail. Perhaps a Helicarion species has a body that is too large to completely withdraw into the shell; as a result they are referred to as semi-slugs

It’s the cats whiskers – again

After the response to my Mid-Week Monochrome post yesterday, I thought I would show you what a Cat’s Whiskers flower looks like in colour.

This is the monochrome version as posted
