I couldn’t find the flower where he got the petal from but I am thinking it was a nearby garden 🙂

So many native flowers on my place are around 10mm in diameter and hard to see.
I think that petal looks like a geranium. Quite similar to one I have in my garden 🙂

I love these little birds. I often see them in the garden and they seem quite fearless but I never have the camera handy.
