When we were in Australia, I took photo’s of spider webs on Frazer island. Huge spider webs. I did not wait to see the size of the spiders though.

Spider webs are hard not to get photos of. I wonder where the spiders were, probably watching you. Were the webs golden?

The ones with gold or yellow webs are Golden Orb Weavers. I hope this helps Dr Christa 🙂

Hi, I thought so. What a beautiful name for spiders.

The females weave the web and are large spiders. The males are very small. Females are 4 – 4.5 cm long but the tiny males are only 5 – 6 mm long (body length) The females leg span can be 15cm!!
