Last on the card – June 2022

Last Photo for June 2022

First of I would like to thank everyone for their support. I was feeling a bit down last month and when I mentioned that this photo challenge may have run its course there was a resounding no way – keep going we love it. This bought a smile to my face knowing that the sometimes crap photos as well as the wonderful appear. I love that new people discover this challenge from your sites.

This month I have to add another camera to my list. I bought a second hand camera and am still getting the hang of it as well as the new tele-zoom lens I bought.

Like a lot of people I forget and am surprised at what was the last photo on the FOUR devices I use to take photos. I went from –

  • the weird and why
  • to the a bit of focus would help
  • attempt at cutting the building out creating minimalism?
  • a possible Monday Portrait

So let’s see what you have for June 2021

The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 30th June.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”

Here’s mine

    1. Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) is a hard technique to master. I give it a go every now and then but never get great results.
The results usually go into the arty farty folder 😂😂

  1. The heron and the heiffer are wondering why? Don’t get down, Brian. Life does seem a little flat in the blogosphere- horrible word!- sometimes. We don’t have our sunny Becky to throw squares at us, and though I complain about challenges sometimes I miss her.

    1. I am having a system glitch and am unable to like or comment on your site.

It is an interesting way to highlight climate action Louis. Thanks for joining in 🙂 🙂

    1. What a good fun Last Photo VJ Thanks for joining in 🙂 🙂
I don’t know why but I am getting blocked from your site. You appear to be a “malicious site” and dangerous, so no commenting or liking on your site.
I am having so many problems from doing something I have no idea what that is stopping me going to so many WP blogs……sigh

  2. The photo of the rug and carpet looks like a cobblestone path with grass beside it. That’s what I thought it was at first! I enjoy your photos, and my favorite one in this post is the cow. 😀

  3. These are lovely last shots, Brian, and I am so glad you are continuing with this challenge. So sorry I’ve not been able to join in lately, but I’m making up for missing out.

  4. It looks to me that you have lots of responses, and many of those comments contain links. Mine is late coming, but it’s almost done. I know what you mean, though about getting discouraged sometimes. The thing is that I like the challenges, so I do them. If I don’t like them or like them and run out of time, then that is what it is. That happens to all of us. I love Cee’s attitude about people playing her challenges. She’s so forgiving about people missing hers and she works hard to at least participate in everyone’s challenges some of the time. Have a great July, Brian. 🙂

    1. There has been lots this month. To me a Last Photo is always going to be the last one on the SD card or phone anyway. Whether it is posted now or later on it doesn’t matter. I look forward to seeing yours when you can Marsha 😀

      1. Hi Bb
Later I need to share the “better” or preferred photo of the lady in the rain – I took three and had to be a purist and go with the last one – but need to show you the other one later

        Cheers

  5. I’m creeping back slowly, miss the challenges which always tempted me to photoblog at least. I miss your lovely birds, the colourful wildlife and antic scenes from your garden. I’ll catch up, soon.

  6. Never entered ‘Last image on the card’ before but may have a go today. I haven’t taken any pictures in weeks, just couldn’t get up the interest, the garden is looking dry and dessicated, we have a hosepipe ban at the moment and I can’t water it, it’s too hot for comfort, and all of this just encourages my laziness and my aptitude for sitting down with a good book!

    1. That’ll be good. I have scheduled the link for tomorrow.
It makes one very despondent when the garden is lacking water. It made me feel like a bad parent last drought by telling the plants that this one is getting water today and having to let some die off.
A good book in the shade does sound cathartic 🙂
