Last on the Card – May 2022

Last month things seemed to have cooled off a bit but there were a couple of new bloggers who discovered Last on the Card from others posts and posted their photos. Sometimes I wonder if this photo challenge has run it’s time? Oh well lets get on with your wonderful and perhaps not so wonderful photos. As you can see from mine that this May I managed to get a few crap photos for my Last Photos. I am not precious about showing my duds and hope you can do the same.

So let’s see what you have for May 2022

The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 31st May.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”

Here’s mine.

    1. Thanks Margaret. Your support does keep me going. I am glad that this idea works. Not fed up. Probably having a bit of a down day and not thinking properly ❤

  1. Sometimes the last photos can be boring (mine are this time, the last photo from a walk – I packed the camera away at the end because the walk got boring / the other one was trying to take a photo while cycling from the mounted phone) but your’s this time are anything but – the blurred shot tells of action, the schlumbergera (if that what it is) looks overboarding, but the little acrobat takes the cake!

    1. Thanks Elke. I think that boring is because it’s your everyday but to me I like seeing parts of the world that are different to mine. I love the bike mounted photo. Glad you like the Zygote Cactus and the Spinebill getting a drink 🙂 🙂

  2. Oh I hope you keep going, Brian, unless you yourself want to stop! I look forward to it. It’s always a surprise to see what I’ve got and what other people have. I also enjoy it as a photo challenge I can manage most of the time, although I hope you won’t mind if I wait to post mine until after I’ve finished the last of my Q&A posts with the students from South Korea. I just want them to all appear together. Thanks for looking at those, too. Only one more to go!

  3. I think April can often be a low point in the activity of photographers, so I wouldn’t read too much into it 👍 I’ll be sorting out my last on cards tomorrow morning 😎

  4. This is a fun challenge. I like to try and forget about it, so I don’t go looking for that perfect shot, and then when I see your post. I think, oh let’s see what I got!!

  5. My problem with “last on the card” is it takes me a couple of days to get your post. I have this problem with all my southern hemisphere correspondents, but often I can pick up the post link from someone else — a secondary source, as it were. I could find yours at all and had to bounce around your website and luckily, found it. But just so you know, I don’t forget. I just can’t FIND you 😀

    1. I always have it as a “sticky” – the first post on my site for a few weeks. Thanks for thinking of the challenge Marilyn 🙂

  6. Hi bb
I like you selections and the blurry one adds a nice touch to the post!

And regarding challenges and running their time – I don’t think this one has and like Graham noted – even for those that don’t contribute regularly –
We still enjoy it (in different ways)

  7. I laughed out loud at your last image Brian – and you caught that little devil perfectly! So the question is, how long did it hang there for you to get the shot?!
