Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Photo Challenge #410
He sits beside
these broken
walls
listening
Has she a voice
to tell him
life
love
His face
rough stones
close
enticing
Her story
to touch
entreating
being
Voices of past
tears now
straining
hearing
nothing
This wave
pummels me
onto the shore
the track behind closing
the track ahead indistinct
searching
a way out
of blackness
looking for
that light
a spark
to reignite my soul
finding no solace
where it
was before
within
darkness
without
an unfinished puzzle
the sky beckons
the stars faded
the moon
bright
there should be light
where has
it gone
should I
go forward
or stay
here
for eternity
words
just words
I cry for
all of us
