Lovely Fox image
And the song- okay – it felt a little
Familiar ? Like I wonder if it was in a movie I had seen a long time ago

Thanks Yvette 🙂 the song was released in March 1975, was a #2 in the UK and #5 on Billboard in the US Don’t know if it was in a movie but possibly

I thought it was in the movie “Over the Edge” (1979) but I think that was Cheap Trick

Nope, not that movie but Cheap Trick did have three songs on the soundtrack

Are foxes indigenous to Australia? Or did we pesky English introduce them?

Oh yes you damn English wanted your confounded fox hunts AND then to complicate matters you bought friggin’ rabbits for the foxes to eat. I won’t start on noxious garden plants

I know. I gather that you and New Zealand have both suffered because they ( I won’t say ‘we’) wanted their homes to be just like Good Olde England. I’ll have to do that Aplogising for the Sins of my Fathers thing.

I used to think when I saw your same title that it was one of those blogs that somehow just re-links to Debbie’s post and confuses me. Now I understand you’re a copycat!! And I’m ok with that. 🙂

Sorry to confuse janet. I tend to copy Debbies Six Word Saturday words in a fashion and add my photo. I am naughty I know 🙂

The farmers here shoot them on sight. I lost around twenty-eight hens to foxes in ONE NIGHT!!!!

W-H-A-T? And of course, most of them weren’t even eaten, I suppose 😦

Of course not. Left me with a stinky mess to clean AND the came back and dug up carcasses 😱

Why did I press ‘like’? I don’t of course.

A great “copy”, Brian. A clever fox finding some natural warmth.
For all the problems they give us, I have to admire their ready adaptation to urban life. My dog doesn’t share that admiration, he just wants to catch them!

So glad you are understanding at my posts for Six Word Saturday, the posts just come to me as soon as I see yours.
I wonder what Inka? do if he actually caught one? I think a vet bill would be on the cards myself

He looks like a little Corgi–but the cuteness stops there.

A bit too tall and skinny for a Corgi but cute anyway 🙂

Of course I can still croon along … I!! Don’t wanna know your name! … Fox on the run …
And weren’t the hairstyles something! And what a cute fox, looks still young.

A young one for sure.
Those hair styles were something else and the clothes and shoes in the Glam Rock era were quite OTTT

It is but probably didn’t last long around there. Not a farmers and environmentalists favourite.

You’re probably right. I feel for the foxes–they’re just doing what foxes do–and for the farmers, too. No real winners. 🙁

They are an introduced pest here with no real predators they can thrive if not kept in check
