Last Photo for January 2022
I cannot believe this is the start of the third year of Last on the Card. Thank you very much to the people who submit their last photos no matter how good or bad they are and to the hundreds who just pop in for a look. I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 31st January.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”
Here’s mine
From my Samsung Galaxy S9

From my Canon PowerShot A1200

From my Canon PowerShot SX70HS

Still great photos. Love the birds! That last one looks a bit like our cedar waxwing birds here.

The Birds will always get my attention Brian 🙂 But I like that ‘sun through clouds’ shot a lot 🙂 Here’s my end of card shots for you – https://2e0mca.wordpress.com/2022/02/01/last-on-the-card-january-2022/

Is that red parrot a lovebird? Whatever it is, it’s a beautiful bird!
We took more pictures during the past few days of blizzard than we took the entire rest of the month. Most of them are too dark or blurry to be used without a huge amount of processing and I don’t know if they are good enough to be worth that much effort. And it’s possible even if I did all that work, they wouldn’t look very good.

It is a King Parrot and yes quite beautiful. That is the point of Last on the Card, not be precious about the last photo. The blurrier the better I reckon 🙂

I got one good one and one fuzzy one. Ironically, that last picture of the 2 crows was the least fuzzy of may fuzzy ones that came before it. I had already processed anything remotely sharp enough, so that was what was left.

Here you go, Life of Brian. This is the last of January. Two days before the month ended I realised that the end was coming and had a look which the last one currently was. I quite liked it so I didn’t take any other. 😀 😀 (I will discover all the various ways to cheat.) Happy third year!

Hi Brian, Love your beautiful birds. I took one last picture from our trip up to Williams. It’s not as interesting as any of the rest of them, but Williams is not the place to visit in January we found out. Cold, dreary, and closed! I only used my iPhone this month. How sad is that? https://alwayswrite.blog/2022/02/02/wqw-5-communication-through-blogging/

It may look like a dreary place but I liked those tall pines. Yes only using your phone isn’t fab but given the weather over there I can understand 🙂

It would not be bad after I fix it up a bit, but that’s unaltered. 🙂 But it was super cold. It’s cold here today but at least it’s sunny. Of course, we complain about weather in the 40s when other folks have to deal with -17 F. We are just spoiled.

Thank you Mary. I did get a surprise when the King Parrot landed on the rake handle so I grabbed a photo through the kitchen window where the phone is 🙂 🙂

Well I’m certainly late to the party Brian but loved your post for January. To be honest I hadn’t done much shooting last month but will definitely try to remember for February – the fact that it’s a short month means I might actually remember! Your challenge is such a fun idea!

It’s never too late and the Last Photo is just that. It could be the 5th of the month but still is the last one 🙂
