Oh I’ve never seen Osprey on the beach or that close up before. Wonderful photos for this week. ๐

Itโs cool to see terns in other parts of the world. Theyโre a little different than the Least Terns in California but still awesome!

They are different to the Little Terns here as well. Glad you liked them ๐ ๐

The crested terns are soooooo cute! And I love the drama in the 2nd image!

They are sweet to see when a flock is on the beach with the wind ruffling their “hair” ๐
I thought the Pelican needed a bit of enhancement ๐

Thank you! I took a photo of a sooty oyster catcher when we were at Murramarang and had failed to identify it. THanks for clarifying. Lovely photos.

Most of those birds look very serious, the oystercatcher, not so much!

And why shouldn’t they enjoy a day at the beach? I do. Love all your pictures but the one of the sooty oystercatcher zings because of that orange bill.

Thanks Maris. I do love them with their orange bits ๐ ๐

Great birds Brian. The shape of your sotty oystercatchers is exactly like ours but ours are black and white ๐
