Debbie’s One Word Sunday: Weather
Today I went for a drive up the Gibraltar Range as there are wild flowers growing at the moment. Of course a drive into the mountains wouldn’t be the same without a stop off at my favourite place, Raspberry Lookout.
This is what you can usually see when you stop at Raspberry Lookout

Today it was like this

I did mention wildflowers didn’t I? There were daisies and other flowers just on the roadside.

As well as Christmas Bells, the ones I had come to see.

These are for Cee’s FOTD
I don’t know if this satisfies Marsha’s and Cee’s PPAC I found it in the very old tree in a notch they cut out to insert planks to get higher when felling a tree many many years ago

I bet you wondered where all this was going didn’t you? Well this is all part of the Lens-Artists Challenge #181: Double Dipping
But did you notice that some of the photos were square so get prepared for Becky’s Square Photo Challenge February: Odd

Gorgeous mointain views.:)

Delighted to be part of your double dipping, Brian. That would be a favourite spot for me too – what a great view (weather permitting!)

Terrific response Brian! Loved your multiple challenge connections and your vista is glorious. I did have a laugh at the lack thereof in your second image š. And how wonderful to have wildflowers growing without any help from anyone other than Mother Nature.

Thanks Tina š I was wondering about what to do in the morning for double dipping. I went for a drive, saw Debbie’s prompt in the afternoon and things just went from there. I love finding wildflowers š

Love the Christmas Bells. Your second lookout photo reminds me of several hikes that I’ve taken over the years!

Thanks Graham. I knew it would be like that as I left my place and saw the tops of the mountains covered in cloud

I sort of wasn’t sure about the hosting of PPAC so I covered my tracks so’s to speak.
If you look closely at the rock it says Sunny Side and is a fried egg š The yellow yolk didn’t come out very well

hee hee your view made me giggle, and then I found myself going awww when I realised you were also promoting squares. I have been so touched this week by all the support, and feel very guilty it has taken me until today to catch up. Apologies, been working lots in between the walking

It was a fun few hours break. Had to add Squares in as have a few others I have noticed. You have only just arrived so there is more to catch up on there than on here but am glad you have finally been able to. It was nice to see you on Twitter as well š¤š
