A cozy collection for this one Brian. I guess I’ll wish you a Happy New Year even though it’s only the 30th here. There’s a healthy (unhealthy?) array of fireworks exploding as I write. Goodness only knows what tomorrow night will be like!

As long as it’s fireworks and not volcanos

It was like the Western Front last night. Goodness knows how much people spend of fireworks, but they’re very popular here.

You lull us into a sense of false security by your great pictures of back yard creatures, then wow us with the exotic- kangaroos and koalas. Keep ’em coming in 2022, and happy new year!

Thanks Margaret but they are all backyard animals 😀

In could offer you … a rabbit, a fox and a badger?

There are rabbits here but not around my place. My besties place has a lovely fox who cruises through every now and then. I would love a badger and a hedgehog 😀

You’ll need to keep your wits about you. Both are shy, and hedgehogs are seriously endangered. This once common animal is one I never spotted once in 2021.

I have heard of hedgehog decline. I also heard about restoration of hedge rows to help look after them
