Last Photo for November 2021

Thanks for being part of my idea for a challenge which people are embracing and word is spreading. Like a lot of people I forget and am surprised at what was the last photo on the three devices I use to take photos. I went from –

  • testing the phones macro
  • a repeat of Hammad’s Weekend Sky from a few weeks ago
  • one I was saving for Macro Monday and Cee’s FOTD

So let’s see what you have for November 2021

The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 30th November.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”

  8. That’s an interesting close up, Brian. You always prompt me to look, because who remembers? I think you’d like my last one on the camera- in a friend’s garden the carob tree has been cut back to a trunk because it was dangerously overhanging the house and power lines. It has determinedly begun to sprout again- such a hopeful sight!

        3. Do you know what I am looking at more. Square photos. There are lots of photos I want to crop and sometimes square just looks best. I have done quite a few in the up coming my garden post

    1. Yes Cath it is a Pineapple flower which will grow a bit bigger (My pineapples are babies). The top is the new growth usually a pineapple will die after fruiting. That top can be planted – as I did with this one years ago – to get a new plant. The purple/pink flowers will drop off and the distinctive pineapple texture is underneath. There is a quick life of a Pineapple which is part of the Bromeliad family 🙂 🙂

    1. Thanks Yvette. A morning photo so that helped light the pineapple. 🙂
      I did have to get my translator out but worked it out OK….what fort? what cars? At least I could smile

      1. Bb – I am so sorry that so many typos come up when I comment to you? I mean it happens sometimes elsewhere but seems like more here and I think I need to slow down and double check auto correct more!

        1. NO need to be sorry Yvette. It does make me smile each time and wonder, does Yvette have her glasses on? I am guilty of trying to write too fast and not notice red wriggly lines, especially as a lot of what I write is either Australian or English English and spell check is in American so red wrigglies often appear.

        2. No red squiggles with the texting that I use but they do have those helpers in document stuff.
          And I think my case it is just super fast thumb typing and having to many settings on (auto correct, predictive etc)

          And I realized that I needed to adjust my keyboard settings – turned off predictive again – that might help
          –
