Methinks there might be some photographic trickery involved in this shot, Brian. 🙂

I am curious as to the trickery. At first my response to this photo was “yup…” but then I looked a second or two longer and I found it quite spooky. The figures. The misty quality in the distance. The toneless colour of the sky. I really like it. But what is the trickery that I haven’t spotted?

The photo is just as I took it on a rainy day. It was a bit darker, so lightened to bring out shapes and a bit of colour – increased the black – used selective colour highlighting yellow – applied selective focus on the same angle as the figures atop the church. A bit of work but fun 🙂

Cool! I have no idea about this stuff. Never played with those kinds of programs.

But you write words my mind couldn’t even conceive although I try to play with that stuff. You can get a free program, load a photo and see what you can do 🙂

I agree with spooky. Or maybe it’s just my Halloween mind this month.
