The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #169: Ordinary
My ordinary, commonplace or standard, of what I see most days. Included in this post is what is seasonal as well but as the seasons roll on it all becomes ordinary for me.
From my front door……

Something to listen to as you scroll through my ordinary world
Looking out of the kitchen window

Through the garden…….

Into the bush…..

or a place to relax in the garden to watch whats going on……..

Maybe watch a sunset

*Disclaimer: Not a sunset from my place. This is what sunset looks from my place

beautiful photos !

A perfect illustration of why nothing is ordinary if one pays attention to the details.

I always find it interesting that one person’s ordinary is another’s unusual or extraordinary. Your photos are a perfect example of that. I sometimes wonder whether bloggers in other countries find what I take photos of as interesting as what I think of their shots. 🙂

I think people do. I am always in awe of other photos that find ordinary, like just walking down a street in their town with cobbled streets and wonderful ancient buildings 🙂

Lovely to see your ordinary Brian. To me some of it is extraordinary because I have never seen a kangaroo before!

One of my favorite things about this week’s challenge is how what is ordinary to some is so extraordinary to others. In your case, the gorgeous birds (I think they’re parrots, no?) and the kangaroos are definitely extraordinary to me here in the U.S. Brian! What a lovely world you live in!

I think the same for me as well, others places have been quite different to my world. The birds were a Blue-faced Honeyeater and a Striated Pardelote and not Kangaroos but Red-necked Wallabies that are much smaller than kangaroos thankfully. Glad you enjoyed a quick scroll through my world Tina 🙂 🙂
