Last on the Card – July 2021

Last Photo for July 2021

How wonderful to have forty-two people show us their last photos for June and ninety-seven likes!!!!. I do feel honoured that this photo challenge is still growing. Thank you to everyone who have supported me with their good and not so good photos. Like a lot of people I forget and am surprised at what was the last photo on the three devices I use to take photos.

So let’s see what you have for July 2021

The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 31st July.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”

  1. I just had a quick peep and I have a restaurant on the camera and 2 adults and 1 small boy chasing fish out by the river mouth.. Life is complicated right now, Brian, so I won’t share more, just a walk and an update tomorrow.

  2. Such a fun challenge, Brian. No editing, Yay!
How is a weather vane made to show that the weather is going to not coming from the direction it’s pointing? “Too many brains” so I’ll just enjoy the photos!

    1. That bloke is hard at work with an important job Clare. He is controlling the traffic lights at road works. I was waiting so long I got my camera out to document how pissed off I was 😂😂

    1. Oh dear Tina…..it is a fun way to show that you can be fallible and do find ridiculous things to take a photo of. I am way pleased that people have taken to the idea and have their inner most photographer on display.
Maybe one day you’ll think of a Last Photo, do a post and laugh 🙂

  4. I always get your posts 24 hours after everyone else. This is true for everything coming from down Under so i guess it’s not personal. I had found the post from someone else’s post, but I just GOT the post right now! Where are all these missing posts waiting?

    1. It was a photo on the way home as the sun was setting and I’m not supposed to be driving between sunset and sunrise after my seizure just to show I wasn’t being naughty. It took six minutes to get home from there 🙂

  5. I look forward to what folks have for this challenge each month … we get to see such diverse things!
Love the wind vane – the silhouette against the blue sky! Such fun!

P/S Wasn’t sure what is the best way to get in touch with you regarding The Changing Seasons: my question is, are you planning to do a roundup of the contributors on your Changing Seasons post? Reason I am asking if because I have a couple of contributions linked to my Changing Seasons post, and I’m wondering whether I should post them in your comments? or would you like me to do a roundup on my post?

    1. Thanks Ju-Lyn 🙂 Last time I tried to do a round up of contributors to my Last on the Card, it was very time consuming so not sure whether it is necessary. Do you think that people actually look at others posts from there? If bloggers want to have a list at the end then I reckon that’s OK. The end of the months are quite hectic for me with a few blogs I am hosting I have to get ready for. Do you Facebook? maybe we can message there or email? I am sure we have emailed before?

  6. Struggled to find your post this month (you haven’t put the usual tags on) the last one coming up in a search was June! Anyway I am here now and found the last pic on my phone from mid July – haven’t had the camera out for a while and I have been pretty ill the last couple of weeks so photography not on my mind. Today though I had enough energy to get the photo off the card and write a brief post for you. Enjoy!

      1. Thanks Brian. Getting there, but it hasn’t been a good fortnight, a shame as some of my family were down here and I wasn’t able to spend much time with them.

    1. Never too late Martin. The bloke was working the traffic lights at road works. I was stopped for quite a while so got my camera out and took a few snaps. 🙂 🙂

        1. Depends on whats in the sky to reflect the Sun. Sometimes they can be from yellow to orange to pink to purple to red. Have a good rang of sunset/sunrise colours in Australia 🙂
