Amazing! My favourites are the bee and the willy wagtail. 😀

Oops. I don’t see think it’s a bee. What is it?

Thanks 🙂 Actually it’s a fly 🙂 🙂

😀. It’s got a fly’s eyes. But the body (what little you can see of it) made me think it was a bee. Can’t tell you the entomologist’s thoughts. I didn’t ask.

Oh my goodness, Brian! How did you manage to capture these priceless close-ups? All these expressions!
The first fluffy bird is my favourite – is it a parakeet?

Thanks Ju-Lyn. I have patience. It is a Rainbow Lorikeet 🙂 🙂

Bird watching and bird photography require enormous patience, I’ve come to realise. Thank you for naming the little lovely.

I love these! Especially the insect and the willy wagtail. I thought I already commented. Bit confused that it’s disappeared. Anyway, my family member who is doing a masters on fungus gnats (she’s an entomologist) thinks the insect is a bombyliid (a bee fly) 😀😀
