  1. Lovely. I like the two red trees, are they manipulated or were they red? And then of course the tree with the scribbling on it. Have taken many such photos both in Australia and Kazakhstan, and now I need to know what the name of the tree is and where you took the photo.

    1. The red trees are what they are like when the bark first strips off. I used selective colour to retain the red colour while the rest is b&w. I can’t remember the name but a Flooded Gum, Forest Red Gum or similar. The eucalypt with the scribbles is called a Scribbly Gum. Not sure exactly where I took this photo but it would be within a few hundred kilometres of my place
