Ragtag Daily Prompt Wednesday: Insect
Blue-banded Bee cruising through
The Dragonfly
A Cicada with water drops
A very very small Jewel Spider
An Assassin Bug
Just wandered onto my computer screen
OK you know what’s coming
It’s big
It’s hairy
It’s beautiful
But if you have to go on go back up and listen to the song again
I love insects too! Great shots! I’m very impressed! 😃

Wow! This is an amazing set of macro photography. Of all of them the assassin bug a beautiful red colour is incredible. Nice work Bushboy!

Yes they really say. ‘Look at me! I’m stunning and dangerous!’ don’t they.

Definately not disturbing. As an amateur photographer (and very amateur) interesting – thank goodness for a zoom lens.

I am glad Pat that you enjoyed this lot. Only a couple weren’t zoom 🙂

Great headline and great photos. I love the jewel spider and the wonderfully named assassin bug particularly.

Thanks Graham. Once the Assassin Bug has that red hook into another insect it’s goodbye 🙂

What an amazing collection Brian, you really are a gifted photographer to get these close ups! Their cute faces fascinate me, had offered my parents to blow up a large fly face for their lounge … they adamantly refused my generous artistic offer 😦
Incredible song … more insects please, NO war!

Thanks Kate. I cannot imagine why they would not want a fly image. Conor Oberst is a wonderful artist.

How do you get them to pose for you? 🙂. Some of them really stare into the camera. Almost the intensity of a Bill Murray. 😉

Mostly just dumb luck. I think they are making sure I am not going to make them my lunch 😀 😀

I always do Tracy especially when there are spiders involved. Too many “erks” and “yucks” and “oh I am so scared of spiders” I have to now do warnings. Same with snakes…..sigh

Did you hear about the snake in the Aldi lettuce? Brilliant.
