I love the way ferns unfurl. I planted a tree fern in my garden in Washington State and have photos of it covered in snow!

they are such amazing plants – some (not this type obviously) have turned up in my garden, and in the most awkward places. I have no idea who brought them!

I have lots of ferns that appear in my garden from spores blown on the wind I am guessing. Ferns like to live among the rocks and garden edges.
