I wouldn’t have guessed it was a staircase at all if you hadn’t said so. Magical!

As with Elke, I would never have guessed if you hadn’t said. And I love both views.
And thanks for the music too, Brian

Thanks for inspiring me to show another side of the light Debbie. So glad you enjoyed the song too π π

Very cool image. I wouldn’t have recognized it as the same staircase either.

Thanks Graham. Yes radically different from the above view π

That’s a cool view, too. “Blinded by the Light” often wins as the song with the most misunderstood lyrics, although my favorite is “Hold me closer, Tony Danza!” π

This is a marvellous photo, and this band gave me a short (they were in an accident and were late to the festival) but a surprisingly refreshing gig for the old farts not so many years ago in Austria.
And if I may, a personal favour: Can you set as the featured photo in your posts something else than the standard Photo Challenge banner? π For example, I’d love to tweet this post but instead of the gorgeous spiral it would only show that mailbox… (No worries: if you like it this way, leave it. It’s just a suggestion.)

I use the header to encourage people to visit my site rather than see an image not read or listen to a song. A lot of people who come from other social media sites
