The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #137: Soft
Here is your soft tune to scroll through some images from my island home
A soft landscape at sunset

A soft cityscape through a rainy window

A blue landscape filled with mist

Our Moon and clouds during the day

A soft feather like moss cascading over a log

Just a feather I found

The beautiful Water Snowflake lilies that grow on my dam

The softness of a butterfly atop a flower

That snowflake lily is the epitome of soft.

those snow flake lilies are a beautiful flower and the angie looking up made that a too photo of this post – and overall a great experience of softness with each photo

Thanks Yvette 🙂 you must proof read before posting. I am still not sure what “the angie looking up made that a too photo of this post” means. It does read like Scots.
I am glad the softness came across 🙂 🙂

hi – here is the correction
re: the angie looking up made that a too photo
was supposed to be
the angle looking up (on the flower) made that a top photo (of this post)!

Beautiful, Brian! And I just loved your choice of scrolling music. Moss – I was expecting that from more bloggers – you are the first one! What can I say of the snowflake lilies? Heavenly.

Thank you very much Ann-Christine. The first moss! I too am astounded. Water Snowflake Lilies are small but lovely 🙂 🙂

Excellent photos! The most sonambulant King Crimson I’ve heard, though it has been many decades. I prefer:
“The black queen chants the funeral march,
The cracked brass bells will ring;
To summon back the fire witch
To the court of the crimson king.” But I digress. 🥴

Thank you John. The whole album Islands is so unKing Crimson in parts. The full version of Islands is around 11 minutes. The artwork for “In The Court” is amazing and was an eye opener when first seen. :

The butterfly… looks a bit surreal, and the moss over the log seems almost like it was in motion and you took the photo on slow shutter speed somehow, like those streams or small cascades flowing over rocks. Wonderful softness images, Brian 😊

I was following the butterfly, a Black Jezebel, for a while and when it sat atop a Lantana flower with the sky as a background, it was just perfect. I love that type of moss, it is so soft. Thanks for your lovely comments Nicole 🙂 🙂
