  1. I have a similar chair-the seat, arms and apron are the same but it is original Oak- the top has cut outs, I believe it had been in a church at one time. It is very heavy and oh so sturdy. I will have to post it too! 🙂

      1. indeed, WP let me respond this time. It didn’t from Sadje’s link …

don’t need any furniture rebuilt or renovations done thanks. More like paint the kitchen cupboards and bolt the bed slats in … they slide all over the place and one night I even fell through 🙂

        1. As long as the screw holes aren’t damaged too much it should be easy to screw back on. If the screw holes are too big for the original screws, buy larger screws and put it back on. It’s not that hard 🙂

        2. trouble is the door split badly when it fell off … so I think the hinges need to be moved as there is too much door damage around the original hinges … trying to get rid of tools but this fix will need a chisel ..

        3. it’s so little and narrow I’m guessing it would have to be cut … my little cottage is more than 60 years old, has a lovely timber floor and perfect outlook, location plus!
