Ragtag Daily Prompt: Art
I have set the question so perhaps I should find a bit of art for you to be able to make up your mind. Let’s start with a bit of a song to get you in an arty mood. Is this art as well?
One of my favourites types of art – street art
Some “modern” art – neon lights
Inside of a walk in box
Using glass to make a statement
Famous woks that appeal. This is a Salvador Dali
More street art, this time sculptures
Making use of recycled objects
Art in nature – Sand Crabs “art”
The artistry of a Satin Bowerbird
My besties art
Fun art we create when out and about hoping someone smiles as the walk by
Photographic art
Trying to make a bit of money from art is hard
Do you have an answer? I don’t. I find art is what you like and enjoy, something that makes your heart sing, your mind inquisitive and brings joy to others.
Well, your artful post certainly brings me joy this morning! Thank you.

Outdoor sculpture is one of my favorites as it changes with the sun and weather conditions. If you have time, check out Franconia Sculpture Park outside Minneapolis, MN.

That is a cool way to enjoy sculptures. I had a quick peek at Franconia Sculpture Park. A great concept. Thanks for your comment and showing me something new Diane 🙂 🙂

Everyone of your photos left me in awe of the artist involved but I was most taken with the sculptures. These are really amazing. I shall be back for another look.

I don’t know WHAT art is but I found a plaque that seems to know where it comes from … What a range – not all to my liking but as a collection quite impressive.

Thanks Elke. What bits didn’t you like?

The plastic flower (is that Koons? – certainly his style, a very overrated artist in my opinion) and those dolls who seem to be pinned to the wall. But what Jo says: in the eye of the beholder. Or with a German proverb: There’s no arguing about taste.

I liked some Koons but when I saw a doco about him and he has more people doing his work for him turned me off. The flowers are metal and in Australia. The dolls are part of a bigger exhibition and I couldn’t remember the context. Thanks for your comment Elke 🙂 🙂

My goodness Sue, that is the tip of the iceberg. I do go to galleries and exhibitions a lot I guess 🙂 🙂

In the eye of the beholder. Me and Mick never look at the same object and agree 🙂 🙂

It most certainly is. We are mostly in agreement although my liking for Surrealism isn’t shared 🙂 🙂
