Look it up

Becky’s Square Photo Challenge: # SquareUp
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Stacked or Piled Up

The disclaimer at the start. The first photos are the square ones, the following set of photos are just stack of stuff I had laying around

Quite often when I am looking for something, I end going down the black hole being sidetracked by things of interest or of vague connection. It is harder to do with books.

You never know when you might want to know something about whats happening outside

or in the past

Handy for Paulas Pick a Word or seeing if a Ragtag Prompt will work

I love the illustrations and photos in reference books

and the illustrations in old reference books

Let’s stack a few things – do you have to look it up to know what these are?

You might find an answer to what you’re looking for here

Look up the price, I want one please. Do you have to look it up to know what these are?

Look up a bit of music. Yes I have many years of stack of music magazines

Pile it up into the ute for next Winters fire

Pile up some eggs that the chooks have laid over the years. From the very small to “ouch that must have hurt” size

Just a stack of chairs

Some cafes stack up bottles to show a bit of design flair.

  1. yay look at all the books – my kind of place 🙂 be back in a mo to listen to the music and explore all your other pile ups. I am writing this via notifications so don’t get the full splendour of your post

  2. Fun post, I love all your “organized” stacks. Oh my, it took me three minutes to ready through your post and all your comments. The music ran out! Bummer! Very clever. You must be near the equator if you never have winter. Clearly not in Melbourne. 🙂 I’ve been as far north as Toowoomba.

    1. I do have a winter but not like real Winters. The days can be in the low 20’s but it can get to single figures of a night and sometimes a frost as I live in the foothills. No vegetation changes. On the north coast of NSW

      1. That helps me place you. I flew over that section of Australia when I was there. I could have gone to that area if I had been brave enough to travel on my own, but I was a scardy cat. and at the time I didn’t know anyone there. 🙂

  3. Stacks of books are my favorite stacks (or shelves of books or boxes of books or…). My answers to your two questions are, in order, marbles and butternut squash. 🙂 As for rabbit holes or trails while looking for one thing, I’m all for them.
