Surfs up

Becky’s Square Photo Challenge: #SquareUp

I wish I could get to the beach. It’s a hot day out there, around 35C and waiting for the afternoon storm winch is building as I can see through the glass of the office door. Again I was sorting my photo folders today and found this one from February 2019. All the folders from February to August have had all the photos named not put away into their specific folders. Yep that’s the organisational nerd in me. You probably wont know this Beach Boys song, a bit of a laid back one to be called Surf’s Up.

“Check out the waves over there!”

  1. Never heard that surfs up song – very mellow – and it fit the theme and with the bird shot
And a side note – the bird photo seems like it would be on a post card with a fun saying
I am curious as to what the rest of the photo looked like or was this not a cropped image??

    1. That was cropped for square but not very much. I took a few photos before I had a wave crashing behind the Gull. First time for me as well for the Beach Boys song πŸ™‚

      1. Thanks of the reply – and the photo also has a light part that has a sparkle or special interest – not sure what I mean but I like the light here – the subject and maybe this would be a great example for the rule of thirds too
