Photo a Week Challenge: Abandoned
A building site. I wonder if the little helper will remember where their shovel is in the morning?

That little shovel against all that large rubble is a “little engine that could” story if I’ve ever seen one.

Oh nice contrast of those two photos together!
And recently we had a very early morning short beach walk and there was a pal and bucket and little kid’s jacket – we wondered if the child would be back for the items or if these were goners
And now I wish I had grabbed a photo

Anyhow – your two photos are masterfully posted with then and now and have such matching texture and colors

Thanks Yvette 🙂 I was having trouble deciding what to post and the now and then idea hit. The colours was accidental but I did like that as well.
Seeing that on the beach was a missed opportunity. I take photos of lots of stuff that either get discarded or waiting for the right photo challenge.

I always wonder the same whenever I see objects like that shovel during my walks.
