Here we are again getting set for seeing the last photo from your cameras SD card or the last photo from your phone on the 30th November. Thanks to everyone who who have taken time to post their last photo. I hope we get some beauties.
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 30th October.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo” or #LastOnTheCard
Here’s mine
From my phone Samsung Galaxy S9

From my camera Canon PowerShot SX70HS

and from my other back-up camera I don’t use very much and often forget to include, a Canon PowerShot A1200

Nice

I was just wondering what bird this was – I thought it looked a little like a buzzard!

That’s what I thought when I saw a Noisy Friarbird for the first time as well Ju-Lyn 🙂 funnily, a Friarbird is almost the exact opposite of a Vulture. 🙂

Obviously my ping back is neither pinging or backing so:

I like your picture, but what is it? Art? Or does it have a function and if so, what function?

Pingback worked by the way. The sculpture was part of an art exhibition themed on reusing stuff

Okay. So I was right. It WAS art. It looked like art but these days, it could have been a new housing for Alexa or some electronic sound system 🙂 I guess it just too a while for the pingback to get there. Which is strange. It’s taking email a long time to get where it’s going. Or maybe that just me.

It could be that you are posting a comment or something yesterday and try to send it to tomorrow where I am now 🙂

I didn’t mean the bird. I didn’t know it was a Friarbird until I read the comments, but I definitely recognized birdness!

Those are three nice photos. The bird and the art are both to the point. I’ll post mine on Sunday as I was taking photos for a post I’m going to run then.

I prefer the bird to the art if I have to chose.
I have a new camera (old one broke, it happens when you throw it to the ground 😦 ) and I wasn’t very good at doing shots in the dark but there you go: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2020/12/01/run-up-to-christmas/

Haven’t used my camera at all this month! But I have a few images on the phone, mainly sunsets (posted already) and odd things in the garden, but my last photo was actually taken at 16:42 yesterday on a whim! I don’t usually photograph my food!

It is a book that is around 50 years old now. It was written for teenagers and was a sort of guide to life with chapters on what schools are like and how to cope with teachers, all manner of bits on sex and drugs and what to expect from life at that time. 🙂 Glad the Noisy Friarbird has a fan 🙂

Sounds like the book was ahead of its time – so comprehensive! Had to look up the Friar bird if only to hear them – yes definitely a fan of them

I’ll let you into a little secret: sometimes I take photos in a shop to use as reference for my own art. I feel naughty because of that too. 😂

So here’s the real question Brian…..do you purposely take a great image at the end of the month so you’ll have an excellent response to your own challenge?!?!? Love you final images.

No I don’t Tina 🙂 the last photo on my main camera was taken on the 29th and I didn’t take any photos on the 30th. Phone camera can be quite random for dates and photos. Often I’ll realise that I have to set the challenge and have no idea what I have on my devices on the night of the end of the month 😀

I admit I didn’t start leaving my CD cards in the reader because of this or any other challenge. I just leave it in until I have another one to put into the slot. But it has worked out well for me anyway, proving that laziness has it own rewards.
