Yes, it seems to make us focus more on each image. I was surprised by the colors around the hummingbird … not the colors I had anticipated.

It does indeed. We don’t have Hummingbirds in Australia, that is an Eastern Spinebill- a honeyeater. The wings are brown and the blur shades over the background greens of the garden π

Eastern Spinebills arrive here in Spring for the Summer. They are the only honeyeaters that do the pretend Hummingbird thing π
