Is that kangaroo looking into your window? How often does this happen? Can you make friends?

It is a Red-necked Wallaby. Depends if I am in the kitchen when a wallaby is just outside of the window and they spot me moving around inside. I try not to get friendly. There has been the occasional Wallaby that likes to hang around me. I suspect they may have been orphans from Wildlife Rescue and have been released in the area where they were found.
Thanks for taking an interest Judy 🙂

I love the perspective on the lone bench in the picture. Also the lighting on the fence photo. Great black and white photos!

This is a fabulous gallery of photos, Brian! That wallaby is like, “Do you want to come out and play with me?….Please?” I really like the sunlight in coming through! And of course the bird. Is that a bee-eater? I’m trying to learn your birds. 🙂

Thanks Lisa 🙂 That one is an Eastern Spinebill. I am trying to learn my birds too

I am part of an unofficial group called Citizen Scientists who seem to be asking more questions than answering them 😀

That’s what scientists do. They question the entire universe in search of answers. I wasn’t good in science but I didn’t get a serious interest in birds until about 10 years ago. Late bloomer! 🙂

Jooooooj, that last one! I would not be able to do a thing with this view. How can you ignore that? Is he/she doing this often, peeking in? I once saw a terrible video of a full-grown roo headbutting a terrace door. Repeatedly.

No Manja, a lot of the Wallabies just cruise through or stop to have a bite to eat. They don’t often look through doors or windows 🙂
