Oh no it didn’t. It was part of a cycling exhibition at the Grafton Art Gallery a while ago. Some of the bicycles I wouldn’t have tried at all 🙂 I prefer that version to the Robert Palmer one

It does have the advantage of being simple compared to today’s bikes. Perhaps a little less comfy, less easy to pedal though.

Yvette Prior just sent me here to see this post because I was walking at a large park and a man and woman rolled past me, each riding a vintage bicycle, similar to these, only very tiny back wheels. They were fearless as they wore no protective gear and were pretty high up! I included their photos along with the miscellaneous and sundry critters encountered in my walk in my post this past Monday.
