Terri’s Sunday Stills: Towering Turmoil
I don’t know about the turmoil part but I sure I can get on with a bit of towering. Here’s a song to listen while having a scroll
I guess I did find a bit of towering turmoil after all. The good news is that the big Tallow Wood tree on my place is alive and standing and has new growth after the devastating fires of last year. In case you didn’t know here is a bit of what happened at Durranbah
Wow, Brian, I really enjoyed your towering images and each unique perspective you provided! I’m glad your towering trees survived the fires and nature is having its way. Thanks for rejoining my version of Sunday Stills,

Oh that’s right, I remember that your country suffered terrible fires–similar to what we usually have this time of year. But your tree stands as resilient!!

Many stand but the next days and nights the sounds of trees crashing to the ground resonated through the bush 😦

I didn’t venture into the bush to see how things were for around a week or so but was very watchful

I imagine a lot of wildlife didn’t make it? I’m a koala fan 🙂

Yes a lot didn’t 😦 I was feeding the Wallabies and birds for a while after the fires. I am not sure if the Koalas around here were OK as I don’t have them around all that often. Their trail isn’t through my place but a dispossessed male may wander through

How nice, for you to feed Wallabies and birds–makes me think of St Francis 🙂

These are great towering images! I love the bird on the last shot. The whole thing looks like an ornamental statue with the bird as the topper! Super cool! 🙂
