The doorway with the stairs is fabulous. Would like to be there. It is nice to see a gallery but I cannot click on each to make them larger.

Thanks Lisa. I tried to click and it even opened the photos on my phone. I’ll see if there is a setting I may have missed. Was it for all the photos?

If I read the post directly from my reader I cannot click to make larger, only if I go to your actual blog, then I was able to enlarge

That’s good. I’ll stop looking. Reader does do things differently. Thanks for your feedback Lisa 😀

The gallery works and I can click on it to view the photos larger, but I can’t say I’m a big fan. I like to see photos (yours and mine) at a decent size right off the bat. Maybe I’ll click on the gallery to do that and maybe I won’t. And if I do, the verticals don’t get the same exposure as the horizontals. I guess I’d prefer to pick what size you see rather than leave it up to the WordPress editor. Nice photos though.

I am the same. Don’t want to fart around, just want to see and move on. Thanks and thanks for the feedback Graham

If you click on photos they enlarge so it’s fine.

Thanks Sheree 🙂 glad it is ok for you to view

This works but I prefer the pictures in full view. Have to ask, where was the ninth picture taken? I love it!

That is the window in my office at home. That Magpie Lark or Pee Wee was often hanging around looking for insects around the window but also having a peek in every now and then 🙂 Thanks for the feedback Susan

I hadn’t thought about the fact that you don’t use galleries. Just prefer to see the detail? I’ve not had much online time and am having a quick catch up now on my phone as I’m out again this evening. It looks fine but I’ll know better on the laptop. Easy enough to do? 🤔💕💕

It is rather tedious and time consuming to add photos one at a time to get the full view. No one is going to open lots of images. The foirst lot was a group of six and then three but still I am not content 🙂 Have a wonderful evening Jo 🙂

Beautiful images. I think the grid style worked well for these, but as you say sometimes you want to give the bigger image

It works well when you have a good collection in your gallery. Clicking on one photo opens the gallery and one can page through the collection. I have a problem with the black background not showing off the photos well especially like in your case with darker framing of your photos. I love the little bird opening its beak and those tiny feathers surrounding it.

Thanks scrapy for the feedback. I do have many photos with black background. That little bird was sitting on a nest chirping away 🙂

I could imagine it that he felt hungry and mummy was not turning up on time.

More like mummy yelling at daddy to take over the sitting shift 😀 😀

Oh, yes, I thought it was a baby. Wonder where daddy is hanging out then?

The photo gallery works well. One can see all the photos at once and then can also click on the individual photo to see a bigger version.

Thanks Rachel for taking the time to look at the photos and giving me feedback x

I am viewing this post via the Reader and the gallery slide show is working just fine.
I like the Block Editor galleries, speeds things up, but a gallery slide show is always going to show the images a little smaller than an individual view. What I have noticed is if the photo has been resized (like you and I tend to do) it doesn’t show up individually as well as a larger version, whereas previously it didn’t make much difference. The decision is all yours yours mate! 🙂

Thanks for the feedback Sue. Think the adding of photos one by one with using the captions may be the way unless the photos speak for themselves. I will see what happens 🙂

Great photos! The gallery works well. With the images being smaller, I just clicked on the first one and viewed them all in the lightbox thingy.

I am glad they are OK to view. Makes me more confident to use the new editor. Thanks for the feed back Susan 🙂

The gallery works well, just one photo doesn’t display, the one between the doorway and the pigeon. The doorway looks like Italy. 🙂 Correct?

So sorry. Lark. NOT pigeon. 😀

The doorway is in Rome. I have been deleting a lot of older photos to make room in my media space. I don’t know what that was sorry
