After seeing your post, I started to post a post about a crow I observed once, but ran out of power in my computer. I was in my hammock, watching the sunset…I went to my studio to finish the post and caught site of the project I’d been working on. Next thing I knew it was midnight and didn’t again think of my crow until this morning and I see she’s already posted the week’s submissions, but in case you want to see it, here is mine: https://judydykstrabrown.com/2020/05/15/mr-crow-3/

But it has been pointed out to me that is a raven, not a crow. Still a Covid, though.

I understand ravens usually travel around in pairs. Does that mean they are couples?

Australian Ravens generally couple up for life. Seeing pairs is most likely a couple

You got a nice shot of this swaggering raven. I don’t trust them at all. I also think that black ones bring luck?

I do like Raven.s We have a pair of native ones that nest nearby. They are most vocal and visible in early spring.
