Lines

Jude’s 2020 Photo Challenge #14: Being Creative With Lines

I have a number of photos with lines, thanks to Becky’s Square Photo Challenge, so I sneak a few in here at the end if they fit Judes brief.

Lines, horizontal, vertical, diagonal, diminished, implied so many lines.

Do these fit? What do you think?

The Weekly Challenge: Boundaries

Here I am
sitting
wondering
was last weekend
the last
for how long
We are as one
us two
I here
she there
distance
but none
Both experts
self isolation
me more so
but needs
desires
wants
more than
a chat
boundaries
set by others
Vulnerable
but safe
alone
together.

Joey – the final update

In January, I wrote about a little Red-necked Wallaby, One day I’ll jump for joy

This is a story in pictures of the little Joeys growth since we first saw him. I am guessing a him but I don’t really have any idea if the Joey is female or male.
Still not much hair but hanging out of the pouch a bit morered necked wallaby_joey01_garden_durranbah
The pink skin is slowly being covered. Same hang about attitude though.red necked wallaby_joey02_garden_durranbah
Getting bigger and bolderred necked wallaby_joey03_garden_durranbah
More fur and still likes to hang aboutred necked wallaby_joey04_garden_durranbah
Almost completely covered in fur and is curious about the ground and food.red necked wallaby_joey05_garden_durranbah
and just like that, out of the pouchred necked wallaby_joey06_garden_durranbah
Still likes to hang close to Mum. Sometimes has a bit of a play. Jumping up at Mum’s head   or grabbing on to her neck.red necked wallaby_joey07_garden_durranbah
Learning how to scratch that itch with those huge feet.red necked wallaby_joey08_garden_durranbah
and with that it’s time to follow Mum into the bushred necked wallaby_joey09_garden_durranbah

This morning I thought I would get a video of Joey in the garden. This is taken through the kitchen window. My video skills need improving and I tried to use an editing suite but failed. The Wallaby in the foreground isn’t Joeys Mum. Joeys Mum is behind the Grevillea. Enjoy a very fast wallaby zooming around the garden

Room at the top of the tree

Number eight in Becky’s Square Tops Photo Challenge

Just a recap of what to do –

Here’s a few rules

The theme for April Squares is ‘top‘, and we have five idioms, to choose from;

  1. On Top of the World – summit, crown, peak (tiptop) or uppermost part of something.
  2. Under the Big Top – topping or covering (or if you are really lucky a circus!)
  3. Room at the Top – first or highest in position
  4. Cherry on Top – something made even more wonderful by becoming square
  5. Top and Tail  – or maybe you’d prefer to play around with word combinations such as top dog, top stitch, top hat, top secret, top knot, top drawer or top dollar!

The main tag is #SquareTops but you may also want to add a second tag using the idiom your square is coming under.

And just in case anyone has forgotten this is how squares works;

  • Create your post with a square photograph, and include a pingback to one of my daily square posts (not the home page as otherwise I don’t know about your ping!)
  • You can also add the link to your post in the comments on any of my square posts
  • To make it easy for others to find you and to generate interest do include the theme’s tag (sometimes this may be the only way I can find you too)
  • You can also use one of my squares logos to promote the challenge
  • Be an amazing member of the square gang, whether you post squares or not, by visiting fellow squarers and setting aside time to enjoy one or more of the square galleries which will appear sporadically through the challenge
  • Do leave a comment on mine as well as your link
  • And remember whilst every square is a rectangle only four equal sides make a rectangle a square!

OK! Got that. So here is todays Square Top as always linked back to Becky’s Top Square Site
