It’s been a couple of weeks since I have seen the Red-necked Wallaby and her Joey. This afternoon she hopped into the garden for a quick visit and a bit of a snack.
Joey has a bit more fur than last time you saw her/him. I was quite happy to see the Mum as she is looking well. Joey still has a bit of skin around the muzzle and eyes but a lot of what I could see has fur. It won’t be long before Joey is out of the pouch and hopping about my garden.
Aww bless… So cute xx

Omg! I can’t believe you got those two perfect photos!! And that these creatures are hopping around your backyard. I saw plenty of kangaroos when I lived in Australia, but never any as idyllic as these two. That little arm…..

Thanks Judy 🙂 I just had to point my camera out of my kitchen window. Wallabies are much calmer than Kangaroos

The recent rain has put grass back on the ground after a long drought and the fire plus I have been making sure there was food for the Wallabies 🙂

I was concerned she had found a safer place to be but then again I am not looking out of the window all the time 🙂
