The Word/Photo Challenge: The Bridge
“If a man can bridge the gap between life and death, if he can live on after he’s dead, then maybe he was a great man.” – James Dean
Some bridges
may be
small
illuminating
the way
Eventually
you will cross
many bridges
taking you
here and there
The end
may seem
forever away
a distant
glow of forever
Turbulence
will strike
tossing you
about
maybe a cleansing
Bend over
backwards
to please
to strain
to strive
Eventually
peace will
come
your being
at peace
Words and Pictures and so very cleverly done! Thank you for this great contribution, Brian. 🙂

Love that B & W one, Brian 😁 awesome shot; but I also like the one with the houses lining the bridge!

The first one is where I like to stay in Venice. The multiple bridges is Florence the one in front is Pont Neuf. The third B&W is the bridge in my home town.

Oooh Brian, that red yoga statue sure would have fit the Lens-artists this week! 🙂 Somehow I think you’ve more where that came from. Loved the bridges and especially your verse
