    1. It was a spur of the moment photo as I was going back home to my devastation. I only had an internet connection on the highway so took the photo of the property next doors cattle yards. WP Needs a few more reaction buttons doesn’t it Heather

    1. Heartbreaking yes but you can like the photo as it’s with my phone. I don’t take many with my phone camera. I like the muted tones caused by the smoke with the line of blackened posts


  1. Yes, an all too familiar Aussie visual. We’ve had a big one up the road, but they nailed it on the third day. I almost dare not say it, but having lived through a few of these, there’s almost a bitter beauty to the scape afterwards, I can’t put it into words yet but I’m struck by the stillness, smell and colour. Best wishes as you navigate the aftermath.
