Today, 20 November 2019, the smoke in the atmosphere was so bad. This is a view I often take sunset photos or landscapes.
This what that same scene looked like this afternoon

There doesn’t seem to be anything anyone can do about it, Brian. So helpless! Do you have family you could go and stay with for a while?

Probably Jo but I am staying to look after my home. Being a long way away and hearing the fire is heading towards my place would make me crazy

I did think that, Brian. No easy solution. 😦 😦

I am afraid not. I spent a part of today in the air con in town which did make a bit of difference

Do face masks help with the breathing, or are they just too horrid to wear in the temperatures?

Is your ‘Bestie’ close by. Is her situation just as poor as yours? Stay safe Brian, 🙂

There aren’t any fires close to her place but she still has the smoke there as well. Always look after myself and stay safe thanks Sue ❤

It is in everything now. I have just hung some washing so that smokey scent will be in them now. Luckily everyone will have the same smell lol

Aahhh … I’m soooo sorry about the terrible fires. It must be difficult to breathe.
We’ve had some news here in the states about the fires. I do hope Mother Nature
will be kind and allow rain. Be safe … sending heartfelt blessings to you … Isadora 😎

I love the look of fog and morning mist as it comes across the landscape!

Ahh I just reread that after looking over comes of the comments and I see that this is fire not fog. Elicits a totally different reaction. I hope you are safe.
